Open Steam and go to Library. Select Life is Strange Remastered from the game list on the left side. Right-click and select Properties. Click the Local Files tab. Still no patch for the waves of us that cannot launch the game? Any confirmation that this is even a priority and being worked on? EDIT- Since I had posted this a member of the community, cant find the link sorry, stated what worked for them - spamming alt-tab literally as soon as they pressed play. This worked for me. Probably wont be 100% success, or anywhere close but I would give it a tryTo uninstall Life Is Strange, follow these steps: If it is not already running, launch the Steam application. Select the Library tab. In the library, right-click on Life Is Strange™ in the list of games on the left-hand side of the window, then select Uninstall. A dialog will appear confirming that you wish to delete all the game content.

It says it's fully compatible. Twice I started it and I got a black screen with music playing. I thought maybe it needed sometime to figure itself out, so I left it alone and it crashed, going back to the Steam library launch screen. I tried it again, same result. I ran a check to verify the files & it came back fine. Tried to launch a 3rd time, same result. :( Deck was also updated a day orwould very much like a fix to this if anyone can find it. It's only happening with this game. I've launched every other installed game on my computer including the other Life is strange games and they all work except for life is strange 2 which won't launch. Same here.

I've had Life is Strange for a few months and have had no problems with launching. Ever since I updated to windows 10 it doesn't start. Sooo the first time I played this was fine, and now after the udpate, when I try to load the game it stays with a black screen right after the Unreal engine logo, no sound and it doest crash.. am actually typing this while on game..
