I wasn't able to keep the little guy in the car. No matter where I put it it would always fall out at every turn. I finally got fed up and did my best to launch him into space with the gravity gun. LOL. Has anyone else had any luck keeping him in the car?
I wrote a quick guide on getting this achievement, with more tips, here:http://crackedrabbitgaming.com/2007/12/27/half-life-2-episode-2-little-rocket-man-gno
This challenge was to take this little guy from the beginning of Half-Life 2: Episode 2 to the end of it without losing him. This addon makes that challenge harder by adding voice lines from the new Youtube series, Half-Life Alyx but the Gnome is Alive started by Youtuber WayneradioTV. Gabe Newell announced he - alongside Weta Workshop and Rocket Lab are launching a garden gnome into space for charity, with $1 being donated for everyone that watches. Every view within the next 24 hours of the launch = $1 to charity. 1.4K.When I played half life 2 for the first time, there was a lighting issue. I easily fixed it by a few dxlevel commands, so before I even ran episode 1 and 2 I added the same commands through steam to execute it on start. So now I tried re-installing episode 2 and I did not input any commands and it immediately give me the achievemnt. This worked
It's not fun with bots. The gnome appears in the second chapter of dark carnival, get a high enough score at the shooting range and you will get the gnome, after that just take it through the rest of Dark carnival and bring it with you into the rescue helicopter. make sure your holding it when in the helicopter. This Guide Mainly Focuses on Half-Life 2 and Episode 1 & 2 and Lost Coast are for people that want not to die or run out of ammo or have fun or skip something entirely while bypassing the need for "sv_cheats 1" requirement which disables achieves in all instances
Chapter 4: Riding Shotgun 2. It's in this basement where you'll need to restart the power. To the left of the elevator platform is a pair of outlet plugs and a power cable that's too short to go.
