It is the Lower of the two hoses that connects at the firewall. It has a "Quick Connect" fitting at the firewall attachment point. The hose above it is the "Return" hose (from the Heater Core back to Coolant Reservoir). It has a conventional spring hose clamp on the upper connection at
BMW has used this stratified air set-up for multiple decadeswhere the driver can temper the air from the dash vents warmer/cooler. This can help the driver stay alert on long trips by blowing cooler air toward their face, while the passengers can remain nice and warm on the family trip to the Alps. 2.
Hey fellas, if anyones interested I just fitted a power seat from a BMW X5 E53 2006 model to a BMW X5 E53 2004 , the older model had the same connection but when I fitted it did not work, solution for me was simple, I just hot wired it direct to the battery and inserted a inline fuse and connected only 2 wires from the seat red is + and brown is - and hey presto all works fine..regards Matt
There is an install kit available for LHD vehicles, BMW p/n 64502359944. However, I don’t know if that comes with the actual webasto heater though, or if I would need to get that separately. Unfortunately there is no BMW part listed to retrofit independent heating to a RHD car.
Too complicated. BMW needs to simplify the basics. ***Original post below Last night wife went into house and had keys in her purse while I waited in car with engine running. Today, key fob won't lock/unlock doors, touch pad not working on handle, start/stop button does not work. Car only starts when key fob is in slot.

It just might end up solving your problem. 08' E90 335i, Sport, Premium, Logic 7, 6-spd. 01' 330i TiAG, ZSP, ZPP, ZCW, 5spd - R.I.P 04/12- gone but not forgotten. My E93 like E92's have two sets of running lights (parking lights) one inner (attached to the trunk) and one outer. My outer running lights are out. The replacement board didn't solve the problem thus that means a problem with the footwell module (FRM2) for our cars.

None of the Audio functions would show up on the display when I pressed the Audio button. When I pressed the Menu button I could get to the Telephone menu. .
