Checking the Invert settings was a great idea. Did you also make sure that your Color Filters setting is disabled in Settings > Accessibility > Display
"LCD" screens offer good colour contrast, but they are a little darker than the original screen. The type of screen that Apple used on the iPhone 11 Pro is called "OLED". This type of screen is more expensive than LCD, but the quality is even better — darker blacks, richer colours and a higher maximum brightness.
